4 Full days training teens age 11-15 on how to care for a baby/toddler, how to respond to emergencies, Infant Child CPR and First Aid training and how to effectively run a babysitting business that will have parents calling you back and referring you to friends.

Our Babysitter's Training Course will teach you everything you need to be a great babysitter. This fun, interactive course teaches first aid and safety skills so you can prevent and respond to emergencies. And, as a Red Cross-trained babysitter, you'll gain confidence and valuable employment skills. You'll learn how to perform first aid and get profesional medical help fast, identify common safety hazards and prevent injuries, supervise children, perform basic care routines like diapering, feeding, discipline and problem solving. This 6-hour course teaches individuals to treat common injuries among children from birth to 12 years of age. This 36-hour course will prepare lifeguard candidates to recognize emergencies, respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies, and prevent drowning and other incidents. This class also includes first aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
Prerequisites: Participants must be at least 15-years old by the last scheduled session of the course. The candidate must also successfully complete the following swimming prerequisites:

Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using a ladder or steps, within 1 minute, 40 seconds.
